Fast & Free: Karaoke, Ropes, And Choice

Mat Paget

Bored? Need to kill some time? Just want a break from the game you’ve been spending hours upon hours on? Well, why don’t you take a look below? Perhaps you’ll find something to fall in love with.

Typing Karaoke

Fancy yourself a fast typer? Do you just want to improve your typing skills, while having fun in the process? Well, Travis Chen developed a game that might be right for you. Typing Karaoke is pretty much what you think it is. Instead of singing the lyrics that come on the screen, you type them. With songs like Sexy And I Know It by LMFAO, and Creep by Radiohead, there’s something here for everyone. Thankfully, the “misheard” lyrics are actually more funny than disorienting.

You Have To Burn The Rope

There’s only one objective: burn the rope. This is a game I try to play at least a couple times a year. It won’t take you more than a couple minutes to finish (well, hopefully), but the pay off is worth hundreds. I always think back to this game when I’m playing a title that is less than desirable, but has a massive length. It really shows that it’s not how much time you get out of a game, but instead, the experience. I would easily pay money to get this on my phone.

One Chance

This game gives you one chance to spend your remaining days on Earth. You, and a team of scientists, created a pathogen that will kill every living thing on Earth in six days. You’re given one chance to choose how you live the remaining days. And it’s serious about that one chance. You have to go through some hurdles to play through it a second time. It’s a game that truly resonated with me; you won’t forget it any time soon.
